Jefferson Davis was the President of the Confederate States of America, as you probably recall from your high school American history course. Monuments, plaques, and statues of Confederate heroes probably number in the thousands in the Southern states, including in Texas, which seceded and joined the Confederacy in 1861.
Students in one Texas university would like to remove a statue of President Davis from their campus. This wiping away of history is typical cultural Marxism in action. The statue has already been defaced, I suppose in an effort to convince fence sitters that no one wants the statue of a dead white Southern male to grace their campus.
When a people lose their history, they lose their unique identity. Once stripped of that identity they are ripe for either soft or hard genocide, as they have no ties to bind them…
